Manchester City full-back Aleksandar Kolarov is also likely to feature for Serbia.

Stoke City midfielder Charlie Adam, Everton forward Steven Naismith and Norwich City winger Robert Snodgrass will be in action for Scotland as Craig Levein’s men take on Macedonia.

Edin Dzeko netted a hat-trick in Bosnia-Herzegovina’s Group G opener against Liechtenstein last Friday and the Manchester City striker will look to replicate his form for his nation’s clash against Latvia on Tuesday.

Liverpool defender Martin Skrtel is set to captain Slovakia as they take on Liechtenstein.

Santi Cazorla, David Silva and Fernando Torres are all in line to play some part in Spain’s first Group I game against Georgia. The Arsenal midfielder netted in Spain’s 5-0 friendly win over Saudi Arabia on Friday.

Hugo Lloris, Patrice Evra and Yohan Cabaye are all likely to start for France’s qualification tie against Belarus. Arsenal midfielder Abou Diaby has picked up a muscle problem and is likely to miss out.

Shinji Kagawa is set to start for Japan as they host Iraq in their World Cup Qualification tie, although the Manchester United midfielder was brought off at half-time against United Arab Emirates on Thursday after a sub-par display.

Republic of Ireland are in friendly action against Oman on Tuesday evening. James McClean may get some minutes despite his Twitter rant directed at Giovanni Trapattoni after the Sunderland midfielder failed to feature against Kazakhstan. Stoke City forward Jonathan Walters is likely to retain his starting place in attack.
