Youngsters Raheem Sterling and Suso drop out of the side that faced West Brom at the weekend, being replaced by Oussama Assaidi and Stewart Downing.

The third change to Brendan Rodgers’ side sees Jonjo Shelvey, who has scored three in this season’s competition, replacing Joe Allen.

The visitors include Samuel Eto’o and former Blackburn man Chris Samba in their side but ex-Arsenal and Chelsea midfielder Lassana Diarra misses out with a knee injury.
