Lille forward Salomon Kalou says he is happy to hear speculation linking him with Premier League sides Liverpool and West Ham.
The Ivory Coast international spent six years at Chelsea before moving to Ligue 1 in July on a free transfer. However, the forward has struggled to impress in France, managing just three goals so far this season.
Both West Ham and Liverpool have been linked with a January move for the 27-year-old, with Lille reportedly ready to accept offers of £2.8 million for Kalou.
The former Chelsea man is currently with his national side, Ivory Coast preparing for the Africa Cup of Nations but was full of praise for both the Hammers and Brendan Rodgers’ team.
“I am flattered with all teams linked with me in England,” he said according to Sky Sports.
“It means I am not a bad player as some people think. Teams such as Liverpool, West Ham, are very good teams.”
Both clubs have already been active in the transfer window with Liverpool bringing in Daniel Sturridge from Chelsea while West Ham have signed Joe Cole and Marouane Chamakh.
