Jonjo Shelvey starred at both ends as Liverpool survived a late Swansea barrage to maintain their unbeaten start to the season at the Liberty Stadium.
Shelvey weaved through the Reds defence early on to give the hosts the lead, before a stray backpass gifted Daniel Sturridge the chance to score his fourth goal in as many matches.
The former Liverpool man’s stray pass then allowed Victor Moses to put the visitors in the lead, but his clever knockdown enabled Michu to level the scores after the break, and that was the way it stayed.
