Chelsea defender John Terry will miss his side’s upcoming clash against Liverpool after scans earlier this morning revealed strained ligaments in his foot that are expected to keep him out of action for atleast 10 days.
Terry suffered the injury in the closing stages of Chelsea’s 2-2 draw away at Swansea last weekend.
Terry’s replacement in the heart of defence is likely to be David Luiz, with the Brazilian defender set to make his second debut for the Blues (he was an unused sub against Swansea)
