Liverpool have been named as Europe’s eighth most valuable club, based on analysis from the 2014/15 and 2015/16 season by consulting giant KPMG. The Reds were also eighth last year and have a marginal increase in enterprise value from 1,273 million euros in 2016 to 1,330 million euros in 2017.
The Reds are one of six English clubs in the top ten, which has United topping the list and also the likes of City, Arsenal, Chelsea and Spurs in the top ten.
That increase of around 4.5% is the lowest among the big PL teams (see link above). Man City, by comparison, have surged by over 22% in the last year.
