Defender Joe Gomez, striker Mo Salah and stand-in right back James Milner all find a spot in Garth Crooks’ team of the week following Liverpool’s 1-0 win over Manchester City over the weekend.

There was unfortunately no spot for Gomez’s centre back partner Virgil van Dijk, with Crooks picking Thiago Silva over the Dutch international.

Salah and Gomez also had high ratings in the Echo for the City game.
