Here is how Liverpool’s players in action at the 2018 World Cup have performed so far. Will be updated to reflect other LFC player performances in the first round.
Mo Salah– the Egyptian was an unused substitute as his country went down 1-0 to Uruguay in their opener. It was also the first time that the South Americans had won their opener at a World Cup since 1970.
Dejan Lovren:- Lovren played the full 90 at centre back as Croatia won their group opener 2-0 against Nigeria in Kaliningrad
Roberto Firmino– Bobby was a second half substitute for Brazil, replacing Man City’s Gabriel Jesus, as the Seleccao drew 1-1 with Switzerland
Marko Grujic:- The Serbian didn’t feature in his side’s opener against Costa Rica, but they won 1-0 thanks to a fantastic free kick from Alexsandr Kolarov
Jordan Henderson:- Henderson started and played the 90 as England beat Tunisia.
Sadio Mane:- Captained Senegal and played the 90 as they stunned Poland 2-1.
Trent Alexander Arnold & Simon Mignolet:- Did not feature in their country’s games against Tunisia and Panama respectively.
