The defender has struggled for first-team opportunities after a breakthrough 2012-13 campaign and will now spend the remainder of the season with the Championship side
Liverpool defender Andre Wisdom has joined Championship side Derby on loan, the Premier League club have confirmed.
The 20-year-old came to the fore under Brendan Rodgers last term – making 19 appearances in all competitions – but has struggled this season, with only three outings to his name.
The arrival of the likes of Aly Cissokho pushed Wisdom down the pecking order and he will now hope for more first-team opportunities at the Country Ground.
The deal is reportedly for the remainder of the campaign, with Wisdom eligable for the visit of Birmingham City on Saturday.
Derby recently appointed Steve McClaren as their new head coach following Nigel Clough’s dismissal, and the former England manager has wasted little time strengthening his squad after seeing Zak Whitbread injure his calf at the weekend.
