This weekend Pete is focusing his efforts on the Premier League and he has two matches in mind where backing “No” on the Both Teams to Score market could prove profitable
Well once again last weekend we ended up with a very small loss as both teams scored as Atalanta registered a surprise 2-1 victory over a Lazio side that are performing poorly at the moment.
Here we are following a system bet and you are advised to keep stakes reasonable and always try and obtain the best price available.
This weekend we are sticking with the Premier League to find our two selections and we begin at Anfield where Liverpool take on West Bromwich Albion.
Brendan Rodgers’ side currently sit in third place just two points off leaders Arsenal and they are facing a West Bromwich Albion side who in the past couple of seasons have been a tough nut to crack and indeed they are now undefeated in their last five league outings.
Looking at the last four head-to-head matches at Anfield the results read Liverpool two wins and the Baggies two wins and in all four matches both teams failed to find the net.
Indeed, the Reds don’t have a great record when hosting sides of Albion’s stature and their recent record reads a very modest won four, drawn two and lost four with both teams scoring in only two of these 10 matches.
In the case of Steve Clarke’s Albion side, when playing away to teams of Liverpool’s grading their record reads a respectable won three, drawn three and lost four with five of the 10 matches seeing both teams scoring.
The above stats suggest the “NO” selection in the Both Teams to Score market looks of value and this can be backed at 11/10 (2.10) .
In our second match we go over to the Liberty Stadium for a Sunday afternoon kick off when Swansea face West Ham. When looking at both sides’ last 10 respective home and away matches we find that both teams scored in only four of Swansea’s and two of West Ham’s last 10 matches.
Indeed, when the Londoners face teams of Swansea’s calibre again eight of the recent 10 matches has only seen one or neither side finding the net.
Once again the stats are strong here and the “NO” selection on the Both Teams to Score market can be backed at 11/10 (2.10) and this certainly offers value.
