The young attacker seemed likely to make the move in the summer, but the Italian club have brought the move forward and Adriano Galliani insists it is all but finished
AC Milan have almost completed the signing of Liverpool attacker Suso, according to chief executive Adriano Galliani.
The 21-year-old has struggled for game time with the Premier League side and he looked likely to join to Rossoneri in the summer.
However, the move has been timed forward, with Suso reportedly undergoing a medical at Milan on Sunday without telling Liverpool.
And Galliani said a deal for the Spain youth international was all but done.
“For Suso it is 99.9 per cent done,” he said. “He will arrive in the next few days.”
The CEO was also asked about the likelihood of his side signing Atletico Madrid defender Guilherme Siqueira.
“If the right opportunity presents itself we’ll buy a full-back,” he replied. “Otherwise we will continue with the ones we have.”
Filippo Inzaghi’s men sit eighth in Serie A, five points adrift of third-placed Lazio – who occupy the final Champions League place.
