Fans set to return to Anfield as Reds prepare for Wolves clash

Fans will be seen at Anfield for the first time in the 2020/21 season when defending champions Liverpool host Wolverhampton Wanderers this weekend in the league. Owing to the pandemic, the Reds have played most of their games this year in front of an empty stadium, but with regulations being relaxed, around 2,000 fans are set to be present at Anfield on Sunday evening. All of these are in the competition proper- group stages and ahead (no qualifying goals, otherwise TAA’s first UCL goal was against Hoffenheim in a qualifier)

Who is Liverpool’s youngest ever Champions League goal scorer

Liverpool’s youngest ever UCL goal scorer is Trent Alexander Arnold, who achieved it at the age of 19 years and 10 days against Slovenian outfit Maribor. Trent beat the record of David Ngog, who scored in LFC’s 3-1 win over PSV in the 2008/09 season at 19 years and 252 days.

Steven Gerrard features in UEFA Ultimate Team of the Year

UEFA have released their ultimate Team of the Year- essentially a XI of players featuring the most number of times in their TOTY since 2000, and Liverpool midfielder Steven Gerrard is in the lineup. The list, as you might expect, is predominantly dominated by players plying their trade in Spain- Gerrard, Thierry Henry and Philipp Lahm are three notable exceptions.
