Jordan Henderson has been appointed as Liverpool’s new captain for the 2015/16 Premier League season following the offseason departure of Steven Gerrard to MLS club LA Galaxy.

Liverpool have announced the signing of young Joe Gomez from Charlton Athletic. The teenager, who can play at both centre and the right side of defence, made 21 appearances for the Addicks in the Championship last season, and has put pen to paper a five year contract at Anfield.
Gomez had two years left on a three year deal he penned at Charlton last season, but the club said that after an impressive first season in professional football, “with such huge ambitions, we could not stand in the way of this big opportunity which he wanted to take”
Liverpool have officially announced the signing of James Milner on a free transfer from Man City. Milner will link up with his new teammates at Anfield on July 1, subject to him passing a medical.
Milner had joined Man City from Villa in 2010 for £26m. Continue reading
